Can I stop my teeth from going wonky by creating more room?

Removing wisdom teeth has not been proven to create room and straighten teeth. Removing a premolar has more effect as its closer to the front teeth. Wisdom teeth usually do not cause teeth to move and go crooked it is just assumed they do. A dentist would not be keen on removing wisdom teeth purely for this reason as there is risks involved in removing wisdom teeth in relation to the mental nerve and chances of permanent numbness left afterwards.
