Can someone help me figure out how to use my new MegaSoul 2000?

The settings are going all wonky and when I switch it to "super prayer" mode, it shoots wet bits of something unidentifiable out of the sacrament chamber. What is going on? Trying to reach the customer service department has been unfruitful.
