Girls, what do you think I should say to her?

Hi everyone! I started college not to long ago and there's this girl that I like and I'm wondering what I should say to her. I just met her a week ago and she seems to be a bit shy. I spoke to her twice already but they were short conversations. First time It was just school related. I asked what her name was and introduced myself and also I stuttered a bit >_< The second time I talked to her I was cool, no stuttering lol and I noticed that she was smiling. Does that mean she likes me? She has really pretty eyes, should I tell her that? I don't want to come off too strong or anything like that. Also I want to avoid any akward moments if I can. P.S. I never would have done anything like this in high school because I used to be really shy!
