Something weird's been going on with my heart?

My heart's been wonky lately. I don't quite know how to describe it... it's like, sometimes, the heartbeats are weird... like, i'll get something that feels like it goes down into my rib area and the heartbeat feels kind of numbed and really long, like it feels like a lot of blood going out at once, i guess. like a big, large heartbeat. I don't know if this is an accurate description or not. but it's been happening for a few months and it's definitely weird. does anyone know what this might be?
