Am I old enough to stutter?

I am 19 going to be 20 soon and I've been stuttering since I was 12 years old or that is what I've been told. Any way to stop the stuttering for the rest of my life? I know that my stuttering is minor compared to others with severe stuttering problems, but hopefully asking on yahoo!7 could help.
