Big piercing mistake? help please?!?

help! the other day i pierced the second hole in my ears, and realised they were wonky. so yesterday i took out the one from my left ear, thinking it would close up and be fine. but now my ear is all fat and around the ear (jaw and neck area) it really hurts to touch! what have i done?
