My sony ericsson xperia x8?

hi. 2 days ago, i received a notification on my pc companion about a software update on my se xperia x8. i installed it, n now the phone is a bit wonky.the app drawer takes longer to load and any home launcher i install to fix the problem, it force closes. can someone help on this issue?can i uninstall the update?.HELP.
