Question about grouting?

I've finished grouting my bathroom and I've noticed the joints are as nice and neat as I would like. Is it unheard of to go back in and scrap (not enough to entirely remove it) some of it out so the lines are uniform? Most of them are, but there are a few that are a little wonky
