Indian stone/rock gets rid of body hair.. permanently?

my friend told me that her mum's friend who is indian has never had exessive hair as a teenager onwards because her mom made her rub this type of stone or something against her body daily in circular motions. we donit know the name of this and are trying to figure out, and cannot ask the lady as her mum does not talk to her anymore. any suggestions? its apparently something w=very common in asia to use for beauty purposes

Bracket on brace just pinged off?

i literally got them at about an hour ago, i got on the bus and something pinged. my top brace has been on since december and it was fine. my bottom teeth are wonky, the tooth in middle is pushed behind the rest and that tooths bracket i what pinged off. my teeth are still all tight but the tooth thats mainly out of position is the one that hasnt got a bracket on it. will it matter? my next appointment is mid june

Computer Stutters????????

Basically this started about a week ago. I was installing this whole batch of windows updates and it finished and told me to restart my computer to finish installing them. However I was in a game of Starcraft 2 so I waited to restart. Well I forgot to restart it and about an hour later the audio would stutter then basically my mouse and video. (Basically the computer) So I restarted it to finish installing the updates. Well it is still doing the stutter. I thought it was skype at first because whenever I click call or send a message it would happen 1/10 times. It is happening now just having a song in the background. Maybe every hour or so it will happen. It lasts about 2 seconds then goes back to normal. I have updated all my drivers and checked for viruses with multiple scanners and there are none. Anybody know how to fix this stutter?

Should I exchange my blackberry for the second time?

I purchased a blackberry curve 8520 on contract from the Carphone warehouse about 3 weeks ago and I had to exchange the phone because the screen was faulty. I have now noticed that my new phone has three wobbly keys. I know that it is common for the whole keyboard to shift from side to side but these three keys are noticeably more wobbly than the others. It doesn't stop me from texting or anything but it is really bugging me. The trackpad is also wonky so it leans over to one side and it makes a weird noise if you slide it to the opposite side. Would you take this phone back and ask for another exchange? Or do you think they would not accept another exchange? Severely enlarged tonsils with no pain?

Me and everybody that knows me have agreed that my tonsils are probably the gnarliest, nastiest looking tonsils they've ever seen. Not pus wise. My left one is pretty in flamed and has signs of yellowish streaks on it. Weird not clumps or balls of food just like yellowish whitish streaks all over the tonsil but its not that noticeable unless i look real closely in the mirror. The left one is not the problem. Although the right is one is so huge that it is literally dipped into my throat probably halfway, well at least thats how it feels. It is one huge puffy not hard but firm tonsil but when it ends on the bottom is another pink colored firm fleshy tonsil looking growth. They are both the exact same size almost and same color texture almost as if it is made of the same tissue/tonsil. But it is one then it gets a little smaller and another tonsil-looking lump hanging from it in to my throat. It doesnt hurt at all ever, not even to swallow. But it does feel like I have something lodged in my throat and it feels irritating to swallow saliva because nothing makes the feeling go away. Eventually it goes away on its own for a little while and comes back. Then sometimes I have trouble breathing through my mouth so it seems. It hurts if I press on it from the outside under my chin on the side under my jaw like on the neck you can feel the right one since it is so inflamed. I cant really see no pus on the right one but the other day I gargled salt water with a few drops of lime juice and I coughed up to little mushy yellow balls. They looked like tonsil stones but when I saw them I immediately squooshed them with my fingers to feel the texture. They easily pulverized into a mashed potato like substance that smelled awful. These were probably tonsil stones, I dont know. But the problem remains the super huge right tonsil. That looks like a pair of testicles almost. Im 17 I used to smoke cigarettes for almost a year, stupid of me ******* myself up so young, came to my senses and stopped. Hopefully the damage hasnt been officially done and its far away from cancer of the throat. But still I want these gone. Ive been prescribed ampicillin, penicillin (oral & injection), amoxicillin, salt & lemon gargles nothing works. I even went to an ancient mexican healer that healed swollen tonsils by "breaking" some nerves in the neck and arm. (last resort) My father was healed that way and never had problems with his tonsils ever again. But it did not work on me. Some doctors recommend a tonsillectomy but honestly i dont want to get rid of my tonsils, not so much because I need them but Im the kind of person that doesnt like something being ripped out of his body unless its a life and death situation. Im thinking of homeopathy. I dont know, what other options do I have?

If the tooth isn't in a weird place like in the upper gum don't let him take it out, a slight imperfection is ok and its better to have all of your own teeth. I had to have tooth taken out because it was in my upper gum, everyone else has 32 teeth i had 33. But this dentist was a butcher, the brace he fitted was fitted for a 14 year old. 14 year old boys grow fast and told me the pain i was experiencing was natural. I never smile in photographs now

anything odd like this and the doctor will refer you. I've been to a neurologist a couple of times because the optician wasn't happy with something to do with my eyes. Wasnt' anything really wrong - they are just very cautious. Could be if you are spendign a long time on the computer its eye strain combined with a muscle weakness in one eye. You can get odd results liek this if you get a lot of migraines. All you can do is wait for the appt. really - your doctor is being careful which is good.

If you are who you say you are, then my advice is this - first, stop that bad self-talk. The one thing that gave me the most peace through all of it was being able to lie quietly on my bedroom floor (or outdoors if I was hiding from the sounds of the hissy fit) and daydream about what my life was going to be like when I was in full control of it. I used to see myself with a good looking husband who was quiet, self-controlled, intelligent, he valued me, we laughed all the time and rarely argued. Years later after I was out of that situation with my family, I found this husband whose picture I had painted so well, so many times years and years earlier - and he is exactly as I wanted. He is so kind and quiet. I am never abused. I am cherished. Yes, you are in a terrible situation right now. But the future is right around the corner. Hold onto what you want - paint the picture in your head, write it down in words in a journal (journaling your feelings actually help a LOT - there are entire medical research studies done on the positive effects of journaling). And for now, as much as possible, stay away - STEER CLEAR - of those people who are rough or unkind or treat you unwell. Even if they are family. You be silent. Help me avoid a possible vehicle scam.?

I just purchased a vehicle from a second hand dealer and I am now doubting it. The following day that I drive off the lot,my check engine light comes on. Took it to autozone and the tech reads a code p0303 which means cylinder 3 is misfiring the day after it went away. I go back to the dealership And they claim its corroded spark plugs. They claimed to have changed that. The whole situation seems wonky. I'm from MA and the dealer is in CT. The car is not registered and has not been inspected yet. Dealer claims that he will not take the car back out of state. First thing in the morning today I'm gonna call my bank to freeze the check before further actions since its only gonna be the third business day of the check clearing. Do I take the vehicle to an official Lexus dealership to get thorough diagnostics or just take legal action since I already paid, do I have any rights? The lemon law of CT states that the dealership is responsible for fixing the vehicle but the dealers confirmation on claiming to fixing the vehicle seems highly biased so they can avoid hefty fees for a possible serious vehicle problem due to the check engine code. Vehicle was priced at 1000 below compared to a first hand dealership. So assuming the check has been cleared and he has my money, what kind of laws are on my side to get my 17k back?

Something weird's been going on with my heart?

Bad nasal congestion problem help!!?

I have a permanently blocked nose all the time. It always runs clear liquid (just like water) and my nose gets so sore from blowing ot all the time. It's not hayfever or allergies or anything like that as i have it all the time, wherever i am. Ive had numourous sprays and have seen a ENT specialist. He put a camera down my nose and said there was nothing wrong with my nose apart from my septum is a bit wonky. It is making me feel miserable all the time now help!!! :)

Gossip Girl books questions...!?

The series is pretty different but I liked reading along with watching the show because the stories are different so it was like watching more of the show. However my mother hated the books because she thought the characters were too negative and not as clean as the tv characters (i.e. there is a lot of drinking and yes drugs) but that didn't bug me. So I guess people will like it or they won't based on how they view those characters.

Having trouble with .dll errors?

ok, i got a copy of Bit.Trip Beat for PC from a friend, but when i installed it, I guess the installer was wonky, because it came missing some .dll files. I found the files, but now there's a new problem, it's saying "the procedure entry point_invalid_parameter_noinfo_noreturn could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCR100.dll." and I have no idea what it means. I've tried moving the dll files, tried finding out what to do, and I've got nothing. help please?

Knee injury...can YOU help?

in june last year i was on a trampoline and my left knee popped. it was quite loud but the pain was gone after a couple of minutes. i was limping for a week with pains coming nad going. i didn't go to the doctor, i begged my mum but she said it was no big deal. so i was fine for a long time and i did sports over the summer. i came back to school played basketball and my knee started hurting really bad. i noticed my left knee looked a bit funny as it was a wonky and it hurt, i went to physio but it didnt really help. my right leg was fine but after a while i felt it started to get relly crushed every time i walked. and my right knee started to go wonky, i dont know why but it did (btw that was the leg that didn't get injured) any theories on what is wrong with me. thanks! btw im 15 and i injured myself when i was 14.

I've been doing it for about 7 years now, (I'm 16), And it's REALLY getting me down, if I'm with a group that I don't know very well, I'd just stay silent and not speak at all, guess that kind of makes me socially awkward? I wouldn't say my stutter is the worst case, but when I do do it, it's bad. I'd literally give half my life span to be able to speak properly >_<. I have Aspergers and my social skills are pretty bad. I have trouble making eye contact. I force myself though but it's like I twitch or something but my eyes look the other way. I also stutter sometimes and my vocab is not that great. Like there are so many words out there and if someone uses that word that I don't know, I feel dumb that I don't know what that word means. I'm also most of the time not good at telling real life stories without forgetting the point of the discussion. I'm horrible at getting someone's attention too. If it was taken by a photographer, and was not produced a lot, then it would probably be worth something. I used IMGburn to get a Rosetta Stone ISO file onto a disc. It went fine except when I try to run the disc; it opens as viewable folders and doesn't run as a program, like it should. Any suggestions?

Yea, I think you do. Everyone could always have braces. My teeth were barely crooked and I had braces for 3 1/2 years. It's worth it! It doesn't hurt at all. It's more of pressure. When you get your braces on they put a dot of glue on each tooth and place a little, square bracket on. The worst part is pushing in the wire..which isn't bad at all. The only part about braces that really sucks is when they irritate the inside of your mouth, but you can always use oral medicine or wax. :] It's not that big of a deal. Most kids have braces.

My engine keeps stuttering and dying while im driving?

ok i have just installed a new chevy 409 stroker into my 83 k5 blazer it was completly rebuilt and so far has been doing excellent. it is automatic and carbuerated. well for the past three weeks il be driving down the road and all of a sudden it will kind stutter and then die on me.. il start it back up go a little ways and then it'l do it again and then again, after the third time it wont start at all. i have replaced the battery changed the ground so it is straight to the frame, i have the engine ground to the firewall and to the frame, iv gone through the wiring and nothing seems outta place or exposed to bad ground so i have no idea, could it be in the ignition or in the choke on the carb?

Since you have doubts of biting when you take to vet i would crate and muzzle it. You need to sign up for obedience training with him. He's evidently not been properly cared for and bonded with anyone and obedience training will help with many issues. Barking for absolutely no reason. No no barking. The yeast issue for ears get med from vet. I would tell vet you just got pup and don't know what social skills it has. Don't take chances that pup will bite. I know how nasty chis are. I was bitten by a friends chi 3x. They did nothing about it. Yet i have dobes go figure who has obedience training?

Why are my two shih tzus so stubborn?

My older shih tzu Danny, whose 3-4 years old is cute, however, stubborn and often aggressive. He never listens and is always fighting my youngest shih tzu Mitch whose 1 year old. Mitch always chews pens and tips bins over, and when I tell him off by saying "No," and pull him away, he growls at me. Why am I so scared to talk on the phone?

Whenever I pick a call or have to make a call, I get so scared to answer. I don't know why. I'm afraid to say the wrong words. I can't seem to stop my train of thoughts. I prefer e-mailing because talking on the phone is just too much fear for me. Does anyone have this problem too? I do come on strong when I say certain things because my emotions overpower my mind and my voice just breaks out in strong words. I try not to say words that will hurt people. I love to help people with my voice and the actions I take. 90% of the times I don't think before I say/do something. Mouse is slowing computer down?

I have a mouse I use for my computer, cause the mousepad is to small and wonky. Now my mouse won't work. I tried switching to another mouse, it didn't work. Need a better windows xp randomization for videos?

I've collected a mass of tv shows and movies and play them thru the tv, now i've noticed something over time, windows xp randomization is terrible, out of like 7000 shows i only see like 50 of them, there a way of improving randomization a bit here. I use media player classic and vlc, no difference, now when i used vlc back when i tried ubuntu linux i got a lot better play back but the os was so wonky and wouldnt share files properly that i just gave up went back to xp. There's this boy at my school who has, down syndrome or autism. Anyway he really gets into school and likes to talk and when he talks he stutters, and everyone laughs at him and makes fun of him..Sadly I've seen teachers even laugh at him. I purchased a blackberry curve 8520 on contract from the Carphone warehouse about 3 weeks ago and I had to exchange the phone because the screen was faulty. I have now noticed that my new phone has three wobbly keys. I know that it is common for the whole keyboard to shift from side to side but these three keys are noticeably more wobbly than the others. A while ago, someone pointed out that I had a wonky eye and it's been bothering me ever since. My eyes are positioned correctly, it's just that one of my eyes is slightly smaller making it look like my eye is wonky. Oblivion GotY edition...?

The graphics quality is basically the same. It is better to keep it on your pc because you can download a ton of mods for it like quests and stuff. Knights of the nine isn't all that good because it is short and doesn't add much content to the game. It does have a good quest line though. Shivering isles on the other hand has plenty of weapons food and creatures and has a awesome quest ling. I think you shouldnt get the game of the year edition and just get shivering isles separately for 15$ at gamestop.

Was I high/stoned? (first time smoking weed)?

Well, me my boyfriend and some of his friends that smoke weed gave me a joint, I had a few hits...maybe 1-3 and immediately my heart started racing, but then that stopped. Not bad enough for braces?! - What to do now?

Basically. I was silly as a young teen and didn't get braces early as I was afraid of the dentist etc so now im 16, and im almost desperate to get them as my teeth are my biggest insecurity. I went to the orthodontist around march time and he told me that they weren't 'bad enough' ?! So what do I do now? Breach of Lease by Landlord?

Hello, me and my wife moved into a condo managed by a certain company. When we moved in they said that the hot tub was fully functional and never actually let us in to see it claiming they did not have a key. Then we moved in and we were told that the HOA division responsible for the building did not have the money to fix the hot tub and there was no date set in stone when it would be fixed. We recently saw an add by the same management company trying to lease another unit in the building saying there was a fully functioning hot tub. We printed it and kept a record of this. It has already been six months and the agent being the management company for the principle did not inform us of this while moving in. Can we technically sue for all of our money back that we have paid so far on the lease, aside from just breaking the lease scotch free, which I know we can do. How much would that cost and would it be worth it? Probably about 6,500 spent so far

I've been having irregular, pop up after nowhere periods since i started my first year at college last fall. I just started having sex a couple of months ago. My first 3 times were really spaced apart and i bled during each time and i was a little sore- i figured this was just normal first-time-having-sex bleeding since it never continued to bleed. After the third time, I was having sex pretty regularly- about 4 times a week or so. My boyfriend has only ever been with one other girl and they were both virgins when they had sex for their first and only time, so I don't think I have an STD- unless I contracted it from something else. My last period ended a week ago, and I had sex the next day after it ending and had no problems. Four days later I had sex again and I bled and continued to bleed for the next 2 days. It was very light and mucous-ey blood. And I decided to go to the doctor since I've been having irregular periods in general and i figured it could just be a wonky period. But before going to the dr. and after I had stopped bleeding for those 2 days we decided to experiment. We wanted to see if the bleeding was caused by sex- so we started having sex and he used his right hand to finger me before any penetration and his left hand after actually having sex. There was only blood on his left hand. And I continued to bleed really lightly after and the next day. I have no other symptoms than this light bleeding. I started taking Topamax and I noticed a lot of side effects. I sometimes stutter when I talk and that wasn't on the list of side effects. Are birth control side effects similar to pregnancy symptoms?

My boyfriend and I were using the withdrawal method for birth control (I know that its not very effective) and I decided it was time to go on the pill. I had a pregnancy test before I started the pill, but I was told it would only indicate pregnancy that occurred at least 3 weeks prior. It was negative. I was supposed to wait to start the pill until the sunday after my period started. My period was late so I waited to start it..until I ended up in the ER with severe lower abdominal pain. They did a blood pregnancy test and it was negative so I figured it was safe to start the pill and that my cycle was just a little wonky. I am 7 days into the pill and feel awful. I have stomach/back pain, heartburn, headache, sore throat, fatigue and overall just feel crappy. We still had unprotected(withdrawal) sex even though I had just started the pill. He has issues with sensation when using condoms. Any insight into whether these are pregnancy symptoms or birth control side effects would be wonderful. Thank you!

You do know that people close their eyes when they kiss, yes? I suspect that's partly because everyone looks weird that close up. Wonky belly piercing?

Mine does this sometimes! you just have to move it occasionally, it's not that bad. also, you can't re pierce it, as it just won't work, and will make the whole bigger... I must admit when I bought an 8mm instead of the 10mm it was pierced with, it has been staying straight a lot better, But do NOT change the bar until it has completely healed (the holes close inwards) if you get that. so about a month or two, I had to wait 6 months for mine to heal! they're very easily infected and it's a nasty infection to get aswell

ohh my god. i swear to god, i had this SAAAME problem!! okay, heres what you do. you text him. dont be afraid. but dont be too clingy and annoying. guys like girls who are chill and easy to talk to, not girls who are just fishing for compliments or trying to show off. believe me, they wont like it. guys are not as stupid as they may seem. text him, just say heyy, and make sure youre the one who stops replying this time. this will make him wonder and think about you. and guys loveeee girls who are hard to get. i did this, i didnt text him first for a few weeks adn guess what? within the past week hes already texted me first about 3 times and called me. Are there any websites online that teach you how to have good social skills?

I have Aspergers and my social skills are pretty bad. I have trouble making eye contact. I force myself though but it's like I twitch or something but my eyes look the other way. I also stutter sometimes and my vocab is not that great. Like there are so many words out there and if someone uses that word that I don't know, I feel dumb that I don't know what that word means. I'm also most of the time not good at telling real life stories without forgetting the point of the discussion. I'm horrible at getting someone's attention too. I would really like to get better with these things because we live in a world full of people. So where online can I go for free to develop better social skills?

My guinea pig has a lump on its throat.?

'My guinea pig has a lump on its throat. At first we noticed he had wonky, overgrown teeth, so we trimmed then, but now i've noticed this lump. It is roughly the size of a ping-pong ball and is on the side of his throat he wasn't using to eat. I think it is an abscess as it is slightly squishy and warmer than the rest of him. Is it life threatening?? and is there anything i can do as i would rather treat him myself than take him to the vets?

What are good books/computer programs to make you fluent in Spanish?

I really would like to become fluent in Spanish and I have the whole summer to start. I will continue learning after the summer is over as well! I have been looking around to see good books/software to teach me Spanish. I want to become FLUENT in Spanish..... Rosetta Stone was very expensive and everyone said it didn't teach you everything.... Teach Me More looked very good and a little interesting... Does anyone know any books that can make me fluent in it? I want to people to hold a conversation in Spanish and sound like I know what I'm saying. I really don't care about writing or reading it. You are not ugly. The only thing I see is the swelling under your eyes and the lines when you smile. That just makes you look older. But you have very pretty eyes, a nice nose and nice lips. You have a good party, I just think you should get rid of Starmie & replace it with a fire type. Both Gengar & Jellicent are ghost (Jellicent being ghost & water), so either get rid of Gengar or Starmie. I'd definitely stay with Gengar. These are all the fire type options you have (ONLY LOOKING AT BLACK/WHITE): Victini, Tepig (you can trade for it), Pansear (sucks lol), Darumaka (pretty good), Lampent, which later evolves to Chandelure is really good, Heatmor, Larvesta, Reshiram, & Arceus with a fire plate. If you have access to getting fire types from other regions/games, do that. I have Charizard. Not the strongest, but fast & one of my favorites. Hope this helped! (:

To be honest I think she was plain out using you, maybe didn't even like you that much and hence that was whys she didn't kiss you or anything. Did I pass a bladder stone?

The other morning I woke up with severe sharp pain in my lower abdomen. It was enough pain to make me nauseous and I ended up lying on the bathroom floor for a good thirty minutes. The pain finally went away and I haven’t had any more symptoms since. I have heard that kidney stones create pain in your lower back but this was all in the front right where I figure my bladder is. One boob bigger than the other!?

Ok I'm 17 and one my right boob is bigger than my left one! Like a full cup side :(! And they look wonky! I'm thin so they're small aswel! One is like a full A and the other is barely an A. Help with Nikon Coolpix s3000?

I have just recently knocked my camera off a 15cm park bench with the lens out. The lens was wonky, but I fixed it so it was flat again, however it would not turn on. The lens is jammed in the position it is in, and cannot be twisted, however after doing a couple of tests, I found that I can now turn it on, but the lens is still stuck in the same position, stuck in the setting I had it in before it was knocked off (ex: video, zoomed in), the on button is flashing green, and it turns off again after a few seconds. I could turn it on again, however after a few tries, the 'battery exhausted' warning came up. I connected it to the computer, but it does not register it, nor does the camera seem to be charging. I can hear the lens trying to fix itself, but nothing will happen. Please help, as replacing the camera is not an option, as it was expensive and I cannot afford to replace it

Which level of rosetta stone?

Can you lose weight after having the mirena coil removed?

I started off at a weight of 9 stone and 2 pounds and after I had the implanon implant my weight rocketed up to 10 stone and 8 pounds. I hated the implanon and heard good things about the mirena coil and after I had that inserted I felt great. However my weight has soon rocketed up again to 11 stone and 9 pounds. This meant that I have put on 35 pounds in total. I have just had the mirena removed and I was wondering do you lose weight easier after it has been removed.

I think the age group is really off for this type of story, but Holly is the closest. Anyone with "greasy" hair isn't alpha material. Ok, basically i have long hair just right underneath my boobs and my hair is dark, dark brown i had a side frindge but it kindea grew out and i have like 3 layers in my hair but they have grown too and they look slightly wonky and i dont like them anymore, do you have any haircut suggestions?
